The GreenHouse Blowdown Evaporator performs parallel evaporation of up to 24 samples on a single stirring hotplate. Giving you a compact and personal benchtop evaporation solution. This tutorial includes step-by-step shots and close-ups of various components and some advice on how to use your equipment in the most efficient way.

This video is what you need to know in order to set-up and use GreenHouse Blowdown Evaporator. Watch the other videos in this series to see how you can set-up and use the GreenHouse Plus Parallel Synthesiser, to convert the GreenHouse Plus Parallel Synthesiser into a GreenHouse Blowdown Evaporator and also work up and purify your reactions with the GreenHouse Work-Up Station.

Working on multiple small volumes from 0.5ml to 7ml? Need to increase your post-synthesis evaporation throughput without compromising on your set-up? Want to perform parallel evaporation, but have limited fume hood space? The modular GreenHouse Blowdown Evaporator system uses a precisely controlled flow of inert gas combined with digital heat control to carefully evaporate your samples. This precise heat control and the absence of a vacuum will protect your samples and avoids bumping.

The compact GreenHouse Blowdown system performs parallel evaporation of samples in either 8 or 24 vials, tubes or microtiter plates. It fits on a standard magnetic stirrer hotplate and takes up less space than multiple individual set-ups.

The GreenHouse Blowdown Evaporator system brings all the benefits in productivity of multiple parallel evaporation to the chemist at a fraction of the cost of other evaporators. GreenHouse Blowdown Evaporator system is an ideal parallel chemistry tool and a great addition to your chemistry lab equipment. It is ideal for post-synthesis evaporation following organic and inorganic chemistry applications: medicinal chemistry, reaction screening, combinatorial chemistry, catalyst screening, drug discovery, parallel solution phase chemistry, solid supported reagent based synthesis and much more.

GreenHouse Blowdown Evaporator provides evaporation in the absence of a vacuum on a single stirring hotplate with volumes from 0.5 ml to 7 ml. Precise control of inert gas flow combined with digital control of heating carefully evaporates your samples. The interchangeable pin plates (that fit the Blowdown Head), with either 8 or 24 hollow pins, deliver an equal flow of gas to each tube, vial or well. The absence of a vacuum avoids bumping, protecting the sample during evaporation.
