Situation

Used a stirring hotplate to run samples one at a time previously. It was not safe or efficient and wasted lots of time.

Objective

Complete the processing of several samples at the same time using one magnetic stirrer with vacuum and reflux options and provide a safer laboratory environment.

Results

  • Now one stirrer hotplate can run 12 samples at one time.
  • Safer, more efficient and accelerated throughput of samples.
