Wanted - a flexible, reliable and accurate automated reaction station

Researchers were also looking to increase the number of experiments they could run in their available space.
EnerG2 with Mya 4

The situation

EnerG2 work in polymer chemistry - materials for energy storage. Before using Mya 4, the group used a single jacketed reactor which occupied the same amount of space as Mya 4. Temperature and stirring control were manual and not digitally monitored.

The objective

EnerG2 wanted a flexible workstation that would give them reliable and automated temperature control and allow them to capture data during overnight reactions. The researchers were also looking to increase the number of experiments they could run in their available space.

The results

Mya 4 allows the research chemists at EnerG2 to do 4 experiments in a compact footprint (smaller than 4 hotplates) while providing accurate heating and cooling in a single device.

For their long experiments, the Mya Control Software is the perfect control tool, while allowing the team to capture experimental data accurately and efficiently.

The overhead stirring option using Mya Compact Stirrers is a must for their polymer chemistry.

Having selected the glassware to fit their needs, from 7 ml tubes to 400 ml Process Vessels, Mya 4 gives them a wide range of scale and flexibility.
