The summer holidays can mean only one thing (apart from schools being closed) - yes, it’s time for the launch of our annual Lego competition!

Since 2015 we’ve been asking you to wow us with your wacky creations, and every year we’ve been blown away by the incredibly high standard of entries. So once again we’re asking you to build a laboratory entirely out of Lego.

It can be as big or as small as you want, and can house whatever manner of crazy experiments inside, but it must be made completely from Lego. So go on and get creative!

How to Enter

We have three entry levels:

Level 1 - 7 years old and younger

Level 2 - Ages 8-13

Level 3 - 14 and over

Once your lab is complete, take plenty of photos of it from as many angles as possible. Even better, take a video and talk us through your lab too. Then simply fill in an entry form on our website:

Enter here!

The competition closes on 7th September 2018, so be sure to get your entries to us in plenty of time.

The Winner

Our panel of experts will choose the lucky winner from each category, who will then receive £150 of Lego vouchers.

We’ll announce the winners on 20th September 2018

You can check out last year’s winners here, and please make sure to read the terms and conditions below.

Why Are We Doing a Lego Competition?

If you’re not familiar with our Lego competition, you might be wondering what it’s all about. Well, there are a couple of answers to that. The first is that it’s simply a good way to keep kids busy during the summer holidays!

But more importantly, it’s about getting kids interested in science (STEM) and how much fun it can be, as well as getting parents and children talking about it in a positive way.

Have fun building and good luck!
