Perfect for high throughput synthesis or small scale optimisation. The Metz Syn48 Reaction Station builds on the proven Metz technology offering differential temperatures in all 12 zones of 4 cells, comprising 48 cells in total.

- Individual zone control via PC Computer Interface of heating, cooling and stirring
- The system accepts 48 glass reaction vessels configured in 12 independent temperature zones
- Individual stirring control from 250rpm to 1200rpm
- Each cell accepts a single glass reaction vessels with a reaction volume of 0.25ml to 2ml
- Individual temperature control of each of the 12 zones (4 cells per zone) with a range of -30°C to +150°C, with temperature stability -/+0.5°C
- Controlled heating and cooling ramp rates from 0.01 to 5.0°C per minute. Optional crash heating/cooling at much faster rates
- Stirring control from 250rpm to 1200rpm - all cells stir at the same speed
- Removable water cooled Reflux Head ensures even and efficient refluxing. Reflux Head is available with Viton or Chemraz® seals to provide an inert, gas tight seal of each reaction vessel
- The Reflux Head also features a single inlet/outlet for vacuum and inert gas for performing reactions under an inertatmosphere
- System utilises reliable Peltier technology for heating and cooling of zones. Therefore a seperate cooled water source or circulator is required to dissipiate heat from the Peltier cells

- Individual programming and profiling of each of the 12 zones
- Controlled heating/cooling ramps
- Crash cooling option
- Stirring control from 250 to 1200rpm
- Automatic detection & recapture of magnetic stirrer bars in the event of uncoupling
- Soft start stirring prevents sample damage and maintains coupling
- Select and observe key reaction parameters in real time graphical display
- Change-on-the-fly - function for pausing, stopping and modifying profiles in progress
- Multi-user function - up to 12 users can enter the Metz Syn48 software, each controlling one of the 12 zones. Independently create, run, modify and collate profiles and data irrespective of other users, creating a reaction station capable of multiple independent reactions
- Variable Data Sampling - Log reaction parameters at selected frequency from once every 5 seconds to 1 hour. Offers the chemist the versatility of high frequency data collection for monitoring small fluctuations accurately or low frequency collection to eliminate the creation of large data files for longer duration experiments
